Walter, do you find the latest versions of FCP to be *very* sensitive in the timeline when it comes to selecting clips? What I mean is, I’ll go to just double-click the clip with my pen and it will shift position. I swear it’s more sensitive than it used to be. I’ve actually been opening the contextual menu to open the clip in more crowded timelines, for fear of moving something and not noticing.
Any tablet tips?

April 24, 2007 at 12:36 amWe have tablets too. There is no way I would use an Apple mouse.
But even the tablet’s mouse hurts after a while on a coloring session and the pen gives my
hands cramps. The best tool I have found is the Logitech MX mouse. Super ergonomic!
Many friends have told me to use the trackballs but I can’t get used to them. How much for one of those “old school” used silver panels?
When for sale, please let me know ….Stuart Ferreyra

Turn down the sensitivity in the System Prefs for the tablet. The Intuos 3 is much more sensitive than my old Intuos 2 for just about everything we do.

April 24, 2007 at 12:38 pmI have the same G5. Is it possible to upgrade to an ATI Radeon x1600? I looked at the specs and it says AGP. Could I be misreading the specs?
