Upgrade to 16? What is the benefit?
I am presently using Vegas Pro 14 and saw the humble bundle for $30.00 – wonder if there is a noticeable speed in rendering increase or other features worth the upgrade?

For $30, you can’t go wrong. Just a few of added features are GPU supported renders using Nvenc, support for UHD displays, improved stabilization, native support for video formats not supported in V14, nice dark mode display, etc. I’d highly recommend it.
Plus an added advantage is that you can use the license to upgrade to later versions unlike purchases from Steam.

Thank you for the quick reply. Do you think render times will be better with the new version? I also saw that there is 360 degree video support too.
I don’t have an nvidia card to make use of the Nvenc
