Upgrade to 10.0.1
Are there any issues opening projects started with 10.0 when I upgrade to 10.0.1? I have several active projects and want some of the new functionality, like adding transitions to connected clips. Somewhere along the way I thought I’d read there are compatibility issues.

I have upgraded with a lot of projects in various stages and no problems.

When you open a project started in 10.0 to 10.0.1 you may get a message that it will update your project similar to what one used to get when doing a full FCP legacy version upgrade. There’s no issues as a result of that. There are some people who installed 10.0 on computers who found that 10.0.1 wouldn’t instal due to an incompatible GPU.

Thanks everyone. I dragged fcpx to the trash and installed 10.0.1 and it’s working great. Appreciate the help.

I have found problems after the upgrade that events which hold proxy files to certain H624.mov files ( from a Vio pod hd head camera) are now not supported and crash my machine!, despite the FCP specs saying otherwise!
