Upgrade question
I have an academic version of FCP 5.0 I upgraded my comp to a Mac Book Pro. Is it possible to upgrade my FCP to 7.0 or am I totally hosed and have to purchase an entirely new FCP? Thank you.

Academic versions of FCP are not upgradeable. You need to purchase the full version of FCS, either academic or retail.
