Updating/Replace Script file? (Script Integration)
I’m on a Meridien system with Avid Xpress 4.6. I have a script using the Script Intergration feature and have laid out my shots. But the director did some reshoots and made some heavy changes to the script.
What should I do? Is there any way for it to ‘intelligently’ update the script and keep my shots in the proper locations? Should I manually add/delete script lines from the loaded script? Thanks

I tried using this feature about 3 years ago and ran into the same unanswerable question. As I recall, this complicated Script feature did not permit cut and paste modifications to the
Script once it has already been “integrated” with text and images.
“Changes? You want to CHANGE something?
Get out of my editing room, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”Maybe they’ve improved on it, but I doubt it.
