    Hi All,

This is my first time to this Forum however, I have used Creative Cow for other resources in the past with great results.

I would like to update my website (https://www.CMVideoProductions.net) and I have been told that I can do this with Dreamweaver. I have Dreamweaver and took a few courses in college, but I don’t remember much (imagine that…). I tried going to import and a couple of other places, but I have no idea where to start.

How can I update my site with Dreamweaver? Right now, I just want to update text, but I would also like to update some videos and add more videos if possible. Eventually, I may even change the design.

    Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and have a blessed day!
    Chris

    hello…

[Chris Franklin] “How can I update my site with Dreamweaver?”

sorry – not really following the question. do you have a copy of dreamweaver and you don’t know how to use it, or are you asking where to get it?

it’s pretty straightforward to use, and i think it’s outside the scope of this forum to offer tutorials on it – adobe has a bunch, or you can always find a ton of tutorials on google…

(i looked at your post history to give you a relevant example – i see you’ve posted in the vegas forum, so i would say that your question here would be the same as if i were to ask “how do i use vegas to edit a video?” – it’s way too abstract a question to easily answer)

not trying to be snippy or unhelpful, but the question itself is very vague, and the answers to it are all very readily available online in a variety of places… :-/

I realize that, and Creative Cow is usually one of those helpful places. I’ll continue to look around. Thanks.

Basically yes, I have a copy and don’t know how to use it. I was hoping for a start to simply update my website. For example if I was helping someone in Vegas. I would say first, you have to save a new project. Then you would import you media (and explain). Then you place your media on the timeline, etc.

    hello…

hmm. ok. well, i guess i really would say that the basic help manual for dreamweaver is going to do a lot better job than we can at teaching you on how to use the product. alternately, here’s several tutorials:
