Updating to FCP 7.0.3 problem
I’ve downloaded the new update to 7.0.3 bundle pack with the other apps, installed it but every other app updated except for FCP. It’s still running 7.0.2. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
What can I do to update to 7.0.3?
I’m using an Intel 2 x 2 Ghz Dual Core Xeon so I’m guessing it should not be a problem.

Use Apple Software Update, don’t download… It’s smarter than we are, and makes certain that all necessary components are updated in the proper order required. Doing manual updates often skips things.

You might want to update your signature as well Steven or someone will tell you you can’t update from FCP4.1 to FCP7.0.3 on a G4 with OS 10.2.8

We had the same problem. Check see if you renamed FCP in any way. We had added a 7 after the Final Cut Pro and the updater ignored it. After renaming the app to the original Final Cut Pro.app, it updated perfectly.
