  Updating to Factory Tools 1.0.1

  Noise Industries has posted the first update to Factory Tools, its suite of products for creating, applying and sharing special effects for the Avid AVX architecture. I’m posting here as some of you may be running version 1.0 which is bundled with new purchases of Xpress Pro and MC Adrenaline. Among the new features in this update:

  – New Altivec (Velocity Engine) optimizations for better performance on current PowerPC machines
  – EPS/PDF file support via Input Source remapping
  – Ability to save/restore effect parameters via Presets
  – Ability to apply a drop shadow to the output of any effect.
