Updating QT to QT 7.0
I am looking to update QT on some of my computers and am worried that a newer version may cause problems for my Adrenaline software which works with an older version of QT. If I install QT 7.0 is there any bugs or problems that may occur? One version of Adrenaline is pre 2.0, and no I haven’t got Avid support.

I wouldn’t do it. It is a recipe for disaster.
But if you really want to do it, here’s a safe way: A way to test it would be to buy a new drive (they’re pretty cheap right now) and do a carbon copy of your start-up drive and then update that drive. See what happens. That way, when you run into problems, you can always go back to the unmodified original drive. If it works (which I would highly doubt), you could then always change to the newer drive as your start-up and use the older drive as a back-up safety net drive.

This potential updating problem is dangerous just for Adrenaline or for other versions like Xpress too?
