Updated Adobe now it wont import C4D files… Help?
yesterday I updated my AE and all of a sudden it wont let me import my C4D file.
I tried replacing the Maxon importer in the plugins folder and that didn’t help.
The problem was defiantly linked to the update because I was able to drop in C4D files minutes before use them in AE.

Have you tried creating a new C4D file in After Effects? At that point C4D Lite should open and prompt you to login. Once C4D knows its you, you should be back to usual.

I haven’t tried to create a new one in AE, but I was trying to import the C4D file that I needed to use. Thank you for the idea! I will do that, then copy and paste the other C4D content in to the new file if it works.
