  • Update video in Audition after previously sending edit from Premiere CC

Posted by Jon Draper on December 4, 2014 at 10:47 am

    Good morning

I recently used the excellent CC ability to send my Premiere edit to Adobe audition to add sound effects/muisc/voiceover to an edit.

The video has since grown and timings changed.

The premiere project has been saved under a different name, (a manually type incremental save to be safe)

If I open up the previous audition project it still has the old video as reference in its timeline.

If I send my sequence from Premiere to Audition it’s blank and creates a whole new project.

What is the preffered way to open my uptodate edit in audition into my previous multitrack edit.

I hope someone can shed some light and it’s a simple button I’m missing. Otherwise I guess I can export an mp4 of my edit and bring that into audition.

    Many Thanks

    Jon
