    After a PC meltdown I’m completing a re prepp of my PC.

    PI 3.0.2 installed successfully
    Updated to 3.0.4 OK
    Reactivated OK
    Checked for updates and after clicking to update I get the following error.

    The application has failed to start because its side-byside configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

    There is also a DOS box open in the background with the following message:

    This only happens to 3.0.4c. I have tried 3 times and get the same errors each time.

    I re installed 3.0.4 and it’s fine.
