  • Update: no .mts files?

Posted by Ineke Vermeulen on June 4, 2009 at 2:26 pm

I just installed a premiere pro update and saw that my files were unlinked. Now I tried to relink them, but can’t select the .mts files. I also can’t import .mts anymore? What happened? Why is this not possible anymore?

The version of Premiere is v4.0 Ironside, update 4.0.1 (113(MC: 166418))
Operating system: Mac osx 10.5.7, Intel Core 2 duo

I used to be able to import .mts files. I did have some problems with exporting the files, but I could preview them and work with them. I was working in a AVCHD 1080i 25fps sequence, with 48 Khz, audio. Now when I try to open a new sequence, I can’t choose AVCHD and when I try to import .mts, it says the file format is not supported. This update was suggested by the updater.

You do not have the latest update for PPro or AME. Please update both of them.

Hello, I have the same problem, my .mts files from my canon hf11, does not show up in premier any more after I updated premier. I have the same version:
    4.1.0(113(MC:166418))
    on a 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, with a Mac OSX 10.5.7.

I cant find any new update for my after effects or premier pro.
AE can read my .mts files(but im gona cut them first in premier)
Any one have a solution for this problem???

Im thinking maybe the new update for Quicktime has something to do with the problem.
