update multiple instances of same text layer
Posted by Scott Tupper on April 20, 2010 at 6:03 pmI have a text layer and an inverted copy acting as a reflection. Is there something like parenting that would allow me to update the original and have the copy update itself too?
Thanks

April 20, 2010 at 6:25 pmI am using the comps from spreadsheet script to update these text fields and anticipate creating about 75 to 100 lower thirds and question slides, so no I can’t copy and paste. Besides that would be too simple!

April 20, 2010 at 6:25 pmYou could either precomp your text and use the text compositions as your layers.
Or you could tie the source text of the layers to be the same via expressions.
The first option is better, because then you can add gradients, bevels, etc.– The Great Szalam

Can someone point me in the right direction? -
