    upconverting dv footage with 1200a

    Hi,
    I wanted to know id I can output DV footage via firwire from FCP into my 1200a deck and record it to tape as 720p upconverted footage. If so does anyone have suggestions for settings. My end goal is to upconvert some DV stock material.

    There are much better software and hardware upconversion tools out there..

    Do you have other recomendations. I might go the Kona rought, but I openly have an LH on my edit sytem. I have tried compressor and think it looks pretty good. My biggest problem is my project is for a theatrical screening. I am worried about the biog screen and artifacts. The footage is old beta stock anyway. Any recommendations?
