    Upconverting beta footage with 1200a

    I need to upconvert beta sp footage and DV footage using my 1200A deck. My question is what is the best workflow. Can I basically use the deck as a go between without recording to Panasonic tape or do I have to record to tape and then capture that footage. Also any advice on menu setups would be really appreciated.

    Fine,

    The 1200A and 1400 decks will only upconvert through the firewire input port, do you should have no trouble with the DV materials, but as a work around, you’d need to dub the Beta to DV then upconvert.
