    I have a DVCAM anamorphic master that I need to upconvert to DVCPro HD, then do some re-editing in FCP 5.1.2. I have access to a multibridge and a Panasonic AJ-HD1400. Is it possible?

    Hi,

    You’ll have 2 options. The AJ-HD1400 should be able to upconvert the SD tape so you can simply capture it with the Multibridge Pro or Extreme as an HD source. Any method available if you’re using the Mac Pro is to capture it as an SD source but up convert in real time to disk using the upconvert on capture option available in the DeckLink Preferences.
