What is the current status of upconversion and downconversion on the Kona 2 cards ? ALL HD Fomats?

what are all the formats? 1080i/p,720p, uncompressed, dvcprohd, etc? yup.

I want to know the status for each format up and down.

the Kona 2 will NOT cross convert. It will upconvert SDI to HD (1080i or 720p, depending on the project you are in), and it will DOWNCONVERT HD (1080i or 720p) to SDI or analog component. This works great. To do the upconversion, you need to flash your Kona 2 firmware, and download the new Kona 2 control panel. But DO NOT BE CONFUSED. It won’t cross convert
720p to 1080i, or vice versa.bob Zelin

yes, no cross convert, but when you pipe in HD-SDI or SDI, it will up or down convert it to the format of your choice. it will upconvert this uncompressed to HD, DVC PRO HD, 720 or 1080 i/p. for downconvert, you can take 720 or 1080 input and turn it into about anything SD–compressed, uncompressed, all of the ways you can capture SD.
