unzip
I was given a prototype piece of software the make plants. How do I unzip it or get it to open up on my computer?

What type of file are you trying to open?
Which file extension? .zip? .rar?
Which operating system? Mac? Win?
Is it an After Effects plugin or standalone?Steve

It is a stand alone zip file. I run either windows 98 or XP pro.

In XP, you double-click on the file and it appears as a folder. In 98, you may need to download Winzip. Try Googling it.
