Unwanted pixels when rendering vector graphics
I have in many projects used vector graphics, but when I render the movie unwanted pixels appear at the top of some of the vector elements.
I use Premiere cs3 and I have tried using .eps and .ai files as vector graphics – both with the same outcome.
Heres is an example (the circle is added afterwards)of my problem:

I had experience with a similar problem where a client supplied the file with outlined text. they had a white BG they didn’t want. So as i deleted it I found heaps of other junk in the white BG. So I put Illustrator in View Transparency Grid and could see all the crap. Once I cleaned it up there were still some bits coming through on the top of the frame. So I added a clear box behind the text bigger than its own bounding box size. That seemed to fix it.
This was all on a mac version of PProCS3. The issue didn’t seem to be there in my PC version. If the text isn’t doing anything then why don’t you use it as a PSD file? Then replace it in the timeline.
This is a typical AE looking project for me – AE doesn’t have any issues with Vector Graphics.
