    Hi,

I’m getting an unwanted delay when I record audio. (Voice over through a microphone)
I have no effect on. I’m sure it’s something simple to do with hardware set-up but I’ve tried every possible config.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Some info –
    Audition 2.0
    Windows XP service pack 2
    Driver – Audition Windows Sound
Realtek AC97 Audio for both input and output.
I have direct sound input checked, which gives me “sync reference – no” in the top window. (I’ve tried the other way with direct sound output checked but it didn’t help)
“Full duplex” is checked and “start input first” isn’t.

I’ve tried different combinations of the above but nothing seems to work. I remember having the same problem with my Soundbooth beta and from memerory something VERY simple fixed it – a simple check box. But for the life of me I can’t get my head around it today. Probably need some more sleep!

Any help greatly appreciated as always.

    Anth
