Unusual Capture problem
Is there any way in Vegas to store the name of the device you wish to use for video capture. The reason that I ask is that since I had a PC Digital TV Tuner card installed ‘Capture only sees this device unless the camera is connected & running prior to opening ‘Capture’. If I connect the camera once Vegas is open & click capture then the camera is never detected & any button that I press results in Vegas locking up so badly that the only escape is the PC’s Reset button.

It will always look for “whatever is available.” Since the camera is not available, it uses what it sees. Just make sure the camera is always available first.
