    Hey guys,

SO I have a bit of a problem, I’m working off an external drive marking clips in FCP. Before I go further I should mention I used pluraleyes to sync these these clips with the audio and in turn I am actually marking the multi-clip files that pluraleyes creates.

Saying this, I have copied all original footage, days prior, to my co-worker’s internal drive and he is editing off of this.

The problem I am having is once I transfer the multi-clip files to my co-worker’s computer. The original files go offline, this usually wouldn’t be a problem but it gives me an “unspecified path” message and won’t link back to the original files. (even though they have the exact same naming structure)

I cannot re-link any of my original footage, but the multiclips play fine, im just worried why it says the original files are offline and won’t connect. Any idea what may be causing this. (also note: there are 48 hours worth of footage here, so I want to avoid manually bringing all the clips back in and organizing them AGAIN)

Thanks in advance for any advice!
    Bryan

I like PluralEyes, but i’d say its their fault this time. Hope some one else can chime in with a bit more info. I’m curious too. I’m just beginning to use PluralEyes full time.

    Hi Brian,

I’m just experiencing the same problem, my audio files have gone offline with an unspecified path, making it impossible to reconnect the media. I also used Plural eyes to sync the footage.

I know it was a while ago, but I was wondering if you can remember what you do to solve the issue.

    Many thanks,

    Danielle
