Unnecessary recompression
Documentation says that if a clip is not changed then Premiere uses original data without recompression. In practice this only works on DV projects. If I use other project type to edit video produced from other source than DV capture (e.g. encoded with one of lossless codec) then Premiere always wants to recompress timeline to render – and draws red line on timeline. Is there way to avoid unnecessary recompression? Tha worked fine in Premiere 6.5 – untouched fragments were not recompressed
