Unlinking Audio tracks from video clips in a project?
I have a huge 30 minute project, I need to delete the audio clips so I can do these sections im working on, I dont need to mute the tracks, I just need to delete them. I have looked and still cant figure out how, I have some audio clips that are seperated from the video so I can delete them, but some like for instance a interview has audio from it merged with the video clip and I cant seperate the audio and video, if I try and delete the audio it deletes the video. I have tried the make independent clip thing, still doesnt work.
So How do you delete audio tracks without deleting the video track.

Select all clips. Apple+L to unlink.

Maybe quicker, with arrow tool active, hold down option and draw a lasso around the audio portion of the clips. Press delete.
Alternatively you could turn off “linked selection” and then just highlight them without using option. Linked selection is one of the default butotns in the upper right hand corner of your timeline.

Option click the first audio clip with the Track Forward tool. Press Delete.
