  • Unlinked clips but cannot delete

Okay I have done this before so I dont know what is the problem. I brought in a clip in adobe premiere pro cs3. I put it on the timeline and then went to clip unlink and clicked.

Then I selected the audio part and cleared it and it clears the whole clip. I tried again and even experimented and after clicking unlink if I try to move the audio the video follows.

Now I know I should be able to delete an unlink clip and either keep the audio or video so I cannot figure what I am doing wrong.

    Thank you.

Could they have been Grouped accidentally? Maybe right click and check for an ungroup option…That’s all I can think of. Good luck.

Alt click with the selection tool on the audio clip to select just it and then delete.
