Unlink in Media Composer 6.0
Im having trouble unlinking some RED AMA clips that are in media composer. The audio is out of sync and I’d like to unlink from current guide track and relink with original production audio. I’m not able to find the unlink option. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen. Also, the clip icon looks like there is a little chain link next to the film frame… Does thi mean the clip is locked?

Hold Shift-Control on a Mac, Shift-Alt on PC…then the Relink command in the Clip Menu becomes Unlink.

“No. Starting in MC 6, this signifies an AMA clip. Previously, the clip was highlighted in bright yellow. They changed it because it created readability issues.
