The drive where my project file is was full.
Just spent the last hour thinking the project was corrupt, deleting preview and cache, and reconforming.
Moved some files to another drive, and this solved it.

June 12, 2020 at 7:03 pmFor me the issue is with Dropbox. If I save the file in a folder on my desktop the save problem never occurred. But when the file is saved in a folder on dropbox is when I would get the error. I did what @JeroenRommelaars suggested and paused the syncing to dropbox. Voila save issue solved, never got the error.
Having to turn on and off dropbox syncing to save a file is an unnecessary step. So now we need to figure out why Premiere has problem saving a file to dropbox with syncing on.
