    uninstall/repair problems

    After running a registry fixer, for a diferent issue, called “registry mechanic” Premiere Pro won’t start, I get this mesg:

    Error 1402.Could not open key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Premiere Pro\2.0\Default Preset.

    I’ve been trying to uninstall / repair the program with no success, always the same error. I’m lost here, any help appreciated.

    I can give you my key info if that will help (can you edit the registry?).
    Name= (Default)
    Type= REG_SZ
    Data= DV-NTSC\Standard 48kHz.prpreset

    Another option would be to do a System Restore to a point when things were OK.

    I didn’t have to edit it, It was just a registry permisson problem 🙂 uff!
