Unformatted text from excel to Indesign
First time posting ever so bear with me..I’m using Indesign CS3.
I know how to import excel spreadsheets into Indesign. The problem I’m having is setting up the unformatted text to the layout I want. I’m building a 100 page catalog and I have a certain layout that I want. So what I have been doing is importing the excel spread sheet then manually hitting the space bar to get the text where I want it to be. I have tried to do paragraph styles with no luck because it changes the whole paragraph not word to word spacing. I have also tried to import it as a table which worked but but the cells were to big for the 6pt font I’m using I need tight rows and the table did not provide that option. So I need some help. Thanks for your time in advance..
