The most annoying problem of them all. I have been rendering a 3 hour video all day which crashed just before the end and so it was not finalised leaving me with an MP4, M4V and AAC file.

Can someone please tell me how to finalise/combine these into a playable mp4 file?? It would be MUCH appreciated.

    thanks in advance.

If it looks good, look at it.

The proper term is multiplex – IOW, you want a multiplexed MP4 file. QuickTime Pro is able to do it. I’m sure there are other options that are free. Google should provide you with a few alternatives although I believe VLC player should also be able to do this. Of course, you should ensure that the currently individual files are not corrupted in any way.
