    Hi,
I just received a Quicktime file with following FCP specs:
    864×486 Custom(16×9)
    Square
    No field dominance
    23.98
    Animation

Which camera(s) records in this codec? Or did this file originate in FCP?
What would be the best way to convert this file to DVCPRO HD1080i60?

    2.4 Intel Core 2 Duo
    4 Gig Ram
    10.4.11
    FCP 6.02
    QT 7.3
    CalDigit 4TB array

    Thanks
    Ralf

No camera records to that format. It most likely came from a compositing programing like After Effects. Just bring it into compressor to convert it. Use the advanced conversion presets and make sure frame controls are on and set to high quality and you should be good to go.

it’s anamorphic video that has not been flagged and
    properly exported as 720×486.

you can use quicktime conversion or compressor.

just resize it to 720×486 and your good to go.
