Unexpected color flashes on export frames
Hi,
First time actually rendering out of Davinci Reolve 9 (Lite) and I’m getting all these strange color flashes on quite a few frames here and there.
Example: frame
Specs I’m using:
Macbook Pro 17″
2.5 Ghz i7
16 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 RAM
Lion 10.7.4
AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024 MBIs this a hardware issue?
Anyone else experienced this before? And know how to fix it?!Thanks!

That looks like potential clipping…. If not, I believe I read on here a while back about throttling down the render speed (you can do that on the screen you set your renders on) and that stuff going away.

Hi Stephan, I had the same problem with the same computer. It is the AMD video card and the Lion version you have. To correct this I upgraded to Mountain Lion and the problem was solved.

Hi,
I posted over on Blackmagic’s own forum too and someone recommended the same thing, so I set about downloading and installing Mountain Lion (which was no mean feat down here in the jungle of Ecuador I can tell you).
It seems to have completely solved the problem.
