I have a two monitor setup and I’m trying to move windows around, but I can’t. They all seem to have to stay in the same monitor (with the exception of the history, tool bar, etc.). I want to move the monitors to my second monitor and maybe even my timeline. I have a Sony Vaio laptop that supports multiple monitors. I could easily do what I just described in Sony Vegas 5. Can I do the same in Premiere Pro 1.5?

    Thanks!

Is Premiere Pro maximized? It shouldn’t be. Restore Premiere Pro and from the right hand corner, drag the window to the second monitor. This should “undock” the other windows for you.

when I do that, the only windows that become undock are “info”, “history” and the “toolbar”. I want to undock the Monitor windows and the timeline, but they all stay within the bigger window (which holds all the windows). Any other tips would be greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Can you post a screenshot of what you are trying to move?

You must stretch the Premiere Pro window across both screens. Most child windows will not go beyond the mother window.
