Undo Autosync
Hello,
I was just wondering in Avid MC 4 is there any way to undo the Autosync of a sequence or revert the sublip back to the original sequence? There doesn’t seem to be a way to go back to the original sequence. Even the ‘Undo’ option is greyed out after I Autosync a sequence. Some of these subclips display no video in the viewer, but the video does appear in the timeline. Other subclips are not in sync despite being in sync before I autosynced the sequence. This would all be fine if I didn’t need to start syncing all over again, but it seems like there is no way to get my synced sequences back. Please help!
Basically I am syncing audio from my Zoom H4N with video from the Canon 7d. Many of these interviews have gone over 10 minutes so I needed split the interview into two or more video clips (due to the 7d record limit) while recording just one audio clip. Autosyncing clips seems to be the best method, however I seem to lose the work I did in the sequence to sync the video with the audio. If you can tell me a better method of syncing or if you know how I can turn my autosynced subclips back into sequences it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan
