    Hi,
Just finished reviewing my underwater footage. The water clarity unforfunately was not that good
Set the cam with OIS 1080i60i /Video cam/ F6 and still noticing small shift, jumps in the video while panning.
It is very annoying because you never know when will you get them. I could set OIS off, but then how stable will the picture be?
At this point i don’t know if i should sent the camera back unless i hear from you guys that you are seeing the same problem and live with it.

talked to panasonic support. he told me to try recording 720 60p. instead of 1080i60i. 720 has much better resolution.

    Will see what happens.

    thanks,

    Felipe

The jumps in panning are due to the OIS. Turn it off.

I can turn it off and maybe underwater the movements will be smooth, but if i shoot handheld not underwater with the OIS on i still see them and that is a problem if i take it off then it will be too shaky and i don’t want to be carrying always a tripod.
