Understanding Codec
I’m using PP 1.5 and was wondering what the best codec is to use to Encore 1.5. I use to use 6.5 and had the upgrade codec from Main Concept. Is it worth buying Main Concepts new Mpeg codec app? Or is PP 1.5’s export codec good enough? Is there a tutorial out there to walk me through exporting and getting good quality? I’ve upgraded my camcorder to a PD170 and I want to get the best quality to DVD.

The MPEG codec used in Premiere Pro is from MainConcept. You already have it, so no problem.
