  understanding adobe with the dvxa

  let me give you the facts:
  i bought the dell system advertised in videomaker mag. thought that with a new pc and the supplied adobe package i would be set to go- along with my new dvxa! (i had a digital 8 w/ pinnacle- and wished for more)-well i seem to be over my head!
  i simply thought that you could shoot and capture on p/pro- edit- and burn dvd….well i shot on 24a and watched it tv (rca inputs)looked so good. put on p/pro edited and dvd was horrible. messed around w/ settings (‘high quality’ keeps saying i run out of memory-no matter how small project is?) so i exported all the project to tape (dv) to remove project from disk. well i reloaded it to work on again but i dont know what setting i need to use when recapturing it. is it still 24a? if p/pro is designed for the dvxa -why are there all these rendering and other settings to choose from? is there a book?
