Producer has nighttime POV driving footage shot SD 29.97 video. Wants to speed it up and make it look like your typical undercranked film footage of night traffic that we’ve all seen before (and can purchase from) stock footage houses.

I’ve sped the clips up in Media Composer and I’m fooling around with the BCC3 AVX Temporal Blur filter. Doesn’t look quite right. Any tips for tweaking this filter or should I consider using something else?

    Hi Steve,

Have you tried using the BCC Motion Blur filter? It might be better suited to deliver the result you are looking for.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

Motion Blur warps it into something looking like a fun house mirror due to the camera shake. It seems a combination of Temporal and Rays Radiant Edges gets me close enough. Thanks.
