Uncompressing (framerate change) gives black frames
when uncompressing a 23frame video to PAL the result is loss of plenty of video frames here and there. it shows just black in dvd in some areas while the audio is played only.
uncompressing the an xvid file that is. i think vegas doesnt like xvid that much but does it like Divx?

Nope. Vegas doesn’t work with DivX or Xvid. I would convert to DV or some other format that Vegas can handle.
