Uncompressed QT file won’t play on PC?
I’ve been asked to create a 10 bit uncompresssed QuickTime file which will be submitted for broadcast.
No big deal (I thought) as this is clearly an option in QT PRO.
I made the file with no problems and it worked fine on a Mac.
As part onf my routine testing, I also check my encodes on a PC. Guess what? No Video, just black. Audio seems fine. I would suspect a missing codec, but with an uncompressed file, I thought that there was not any codecs, just QuickTime.
Should this file play on a PC?BTW, Both Mac and PC are using QT 7
I’ve also tried making the file in compressor and get the same results.
I have Squeeze 4.3, but did not try it as uncompressed did not appear to be an option.Any help is appreciated in advance.
