I rendered out some sequences in fcp6, via uncompressed 10-bit 1080i, (the built in codec, not the decklink).

My client is reading this on a fcp5 system, and can’t open the files. Is there an actual apple uncompressed codec? Did it change from v5 to v6? Can you download it somewhere?

    Thanks,
    Blase

[Blase Theodore] ” Is there an actual apple uncompressed codec?”

    Yes.

[Blase Theodore] “Did it change from v5 to v6?”

    Probably.

[Blase Theodore] “Can you download it somewhere? “

    No.

Any chance that you are intel and the FCP5 is PPC? Are you sure it’s the Apple codec? What happens when they try and open it?
