unable to set 2sec selection in browser clip and can’t use timecode to navigate…bugs or limitations?
Just hoping it’s something I’m doing wrong.
[1] But if I take any clip and wish to set an “in” point and then an “out” point 2 seconds later using the “i” and “o” keys on the keyboard, FCP X ignores my out point and immediately sets the selection as being from the very beginning of the clip to my “in” point. In other words, my “in” point becomes my “out” point. Is this another FCP X bug?
[2] I’m also unable to navigate using timecode in any browser clip, is this normal?
For example, inside any browser event clip, set an “in” point, then hit “2.” to go 2 seconds later to set an “out” point and nothing happens. Is it therefore impossible to navigate using timecode in the event browser??? -
