  • Unable to resize clips! -something to do with audio?

I am trying to extend/clip off the end of some clips, but when I go to drag out the end, I get the clip handle cursor, but it doesn’t do anything.. it always stays at 0. I think it may be something to do with the audio for the tracks.. which i have been ignoring because i have one overall.. and the audio bits of each other track get moved around, and sometimes if i move the audio it will allow me to resize the clip. I can’t figure out what exactly is happening here, though. And I also don’t see an easy way to just get rid of the audio from one of the clips… I thought that’s what sync lock was, but it still attaches the audio to the video track if i turn it off…
I’m guessing it’s something simple, like basic functionality Im not quite grasping, but if you know what’s doing this please let me know 🙂

Right-click the clip and select UNLINK. Then, click in an area of the timeline so as to deselect the clip, then you can delete the audio and/or move audio and video clips independent of one another
