Unable to Preview Trim ?
Hello all…
I am back again with more silly questions.In the Trim window, everything works perfectly
but when I hit that preview button and nothing happens.So I highlighted the timeline to preview the trim.
Well, I don’t mind work this way, but there must
be other way to preview the trim right?Can you help why am I not being able to preview
the trim?I have looked under ‘Preference>Trim’ but
there is no option to adjust preview trim length.
So I am very confused now.I would very much appreciated any help!

Just press play while you are trimming..
this will preview the edit.
the biggest problem I have with the trim view preview is that the time line cursor doesn’t dynmaically cue to show where plpaback progress is.
without this, it is very hard to use…

Thanks Alex.
Well I just figured out why.
Somehow my pre & post roll pref setting was at 0
and that’s why I was getting no playback at all.And like you said previewing in the trim monitor
is a bit awkward. So I kept the post & pre roll
setting at Zero and now I am previewing from the
main time line. I think it works beautifully
for me.Thank Again.
