    Hi,

I previously used sony vegas movie studio platinum 9.0 (trial). Then i bought sony vegas pro 8. But i can’t open any of my previous unfinished movie files. Is it possible to convert the file to be used in a different version of vegas? or will i have to start from scratch… ? or am i just doing it wrong.

You don’t have to start from scratch…If the problem persists
you can simply open up back the project in the trial version
it was created in, then render out as DV NTSC
(or your format choice). Then place it in your Pro version.

My trial version has expired, so i can’t re-open that particular client.

Vegas Pro 8.0c will open Vegas Movie Studio 9 projects. If you haven’t upgraded your Vegas Pro 8 to version 8.0c, just download the newer version and install it.
