Unable to log and transfer new p2 format – AVC-LongG 25 into FCP7
WE just got footage from a new Panasonic camera XP-5000 and video was shot on a micro p2 card and is being seen as AVC-LongG 25. Its 1080p and every method I try to see it, transcode it, does not work. QT, VLC, Mpg streamclip, Rhozet… all have failed. I did download viewer software from panansonic and can view the footage but there is no capture or transcode function that I can see.
Anyone have any ideas? I’m still on FCP 7.0.3
