    Hello out there,

I’m still back in the stone-age: standard-def DV… Sony DSR-11 deck and FCP5.1… But I was able to log-and-capture last time! Now, I’m getting this message: “Batch Capture: unable to lock deck servo. Tape possibly is still threading.” Well, it’s not threading, sure, but it’s also not finding the time-code. I’ve tried duping the tape, thinking the XL1 was not writing time-code. Still no go… VERY FRUSTRATING! Anyone out there with any ideas??

    Thanks in advance,
    Benjamin

    Trash your prefs, and restart.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Hi Chris,

I’ve got this new issue. This has never happened… When playing back out of FCP5 via firewire to audio and video monitors I get a huge pixel effect across the monitor, and clipped sound. It won’t go away with refreshing… I’ve thrown out prefs, rechecked firewires, turned stuff on and off. Any ideas??

    Many thanks in advance,
    Benjamin
