  • Unable to export with titles in timeline?

Posted by James Culbertson on March 8, 2016 at 9:45 pm

I posted last night about being unable to export clip ranges. I now have found it is due to having titles in my timeline. I’ve checked for duplicate fonts, tried different fonts, tried using different title templates, verified fonts in font book; though I use FontExplorer as my font organizer.

This just started in the last week; I have not installed anything recently.

Anyone have any other suggestions for what to do?

[James Culbertson] “Anyone have any other suggestions for what to do?”

That’s an odd one, have you done the traditional trashing of the render/cache files? Are there a lot? A stop-
gap workaround might be to export as png and then recut them in?

Turns out it was a combination of titles and iZotope RX4 dialogue denoiser both applied to a clip. Either by itself worked fine, but both together froze renders at 0%.

I upgraded to RX5 and things are fine now… though RX5 dialogue denoiser appears to be a bit unstable when applying to a clip.
