When I go to drag a video clip (mp4) from my media pool to my timeline, it brings across the audio but the video doesn’t come with it.
Please help 🙂
FYI I’m using 17beta2 which I just installed (though the issue may also have present in the previous 17 beta1)

I am using Resolve 17 beta 2 Studio and have not had that problem. For me, dragging clips to the timeline is working normally.

Sorry for the late reply, it seemed to just start working again for no evident reason. But all good I’ve had no problem since. Cheers

I always blame that sort of thing on Cyber Gremlins, but great that all is working well now.

Your timeline may have become corrupted. You can lasso everything on the timeline and copy to the clipboard. Then create a new empty timeline and paste the clipboard contents into the new timeline. If you can add content to the new timeline, then problem solved. Otherwise something else is wrong. I have had the same problem numerous times, and this is always the first thing I try, as it usually works.

Hi, You’re here because you can’t drag either audio or video to the Timeline. Sorry for the frustration! SOLUTION: Make sure Source Patching is set up correctly in the Timeline.
